Welcome to Scamps & Champs Cat Home Visits (“we”, “us”, “our”). By booking our cat sitting or pet home visit services, you (“client”, “you”, “your”) agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. Booking & Payment
- All bookings must be made via our website, email, or telephone and confirmed in writing.
- Full payment is due in advance 30 days prior to the first day of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Your booking is only secured once payment has been received and confirmed by us.
2. Meet & Greet
- A free, no-obligation meet & greet is offered prior to the first booking to assess your cat’s needs and collect key details.
- We reserve the right to decline services if we feel the pet’s needs are beyond the scope of our offering or for safety reasons.
3. Keys & Access
- Clients are responsible for providing safe, reliable access to the property.
- Keys should be handed over in person at the meet & greet or dropped off in a secure way by arrangement.
- Keys are stored securely and will never be labelled with identifiable address information.
4. Services Provided
Each cat home visit includes:
- Feeding and fresh water
- Litter tray maintenance
- Play, brushing or quiet companionship (as appropriate)
- Medication if agreed in advance
- Daily service reports with photos
- Minor home tasks (e.g. bin put-out, curtains, lights)
5. Pet Health & Behaviour
- All cats must be in general good health, up to date with vaccinations and flea/worming treatments unless otherwise agreed.
- We will not sit for aggressive or dangerous pets.
- You must inform us of any medical or behavioural issues before the booking begins.
6. Emergencies
- In the event of illness or injury, we will attempt to contact you and your nominated emergency contact immediately.
- If urgent action is required, we reserve the right to seek veterinary treatment at your expense using your registered vet or the nearest available.
- You agree to reimburse any costs incurred, including transport and out-of-hours fees.
7. Cancellations & Refunds
- Cancellations with four weeks notice or more will receive a full refund.
- Cancellations with less than four weeks notice may incur a fee of up to 100% of the booking value.
- We reserve the right to cancel in exceptional circumstances (e.g. sitter illness or emergencies), in which case a full refund will be given and every effort made to find cover.
8. Liability
- While every reasonable care is taken, we cannot be held responsible for injury, illness, death, loss, or damage caused to or by your pet or property unless due to proven negligence.
- You agree to cover any costs caused by your pet (e.g. damage to property, biting sitter).
9. Privacy & Data
- Your data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Personal information is only used to provide the agreed services and is never shared without consent.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be handled in the relevant UK courts.
